Creating quiz pop-up

In Shoplive, you can use the Quiz and Survey functions to conduct viewer participation-led campaign.

Quiz and Survey pop-ups are created in the same way. You can create a quiz/survey by setting sub-options that appear according to type, such as Quiz and Survey.

Create quiz pop-up and set basic information

1. Select Quiz/Survey on the Create pop-up window.

How are quizzes and surveys different?

If you select Quiz in Quiz type, you must select the answer.

If you select Survey in Quiz type, you do not have to select an answer.

3. Set basic information

• Add a thumbnail image that will be exposed on top of the question during the quiz pop-up.

Are thumbnail images for quiz pop-ups absolutely necessary?

It is not mandatory. If you do not set the thumbnail image for the quiz pop-up, the Shoplive default image will be exposed. When uploading a new image, delete the old image before uploading it.

4. Add questions

• Add quiz question. The entered question will be exposed to the viewer when the quiz begins.

5. Multiple choice questions

• You can choose the type of multiple choice questions: OX, list, multi-column list, and image columns.

6. Choosing the answer (quiz-type)

• Choose the correct answer. You do not need to choose an answer for survey-format quizzes.

Detailed settings

Time limit

When displaying a quiz, set whether to keep it on the screen or close it after a certain amount of time. (Default setting: display for 15 seconds)

What is the difference between “No limit” and “Designated time” in duration?

If you set the Time limit as No limit, the admin must click on Close quiz at the desired point in time in order for the question to go down and announce the answer.

If you set the Duration as Designated time, the question will go down and the answer will be announced automatically at the set time.

Real-time response statistics

Choose whether or not to expose real-time response figures according to the user's selection for each choice. If you enable the Real-time response statistics toggle button, the real-time response figures of quiz participants will be displayed in the view of the quiz pop-up.

Show respondents

Choose whether or not to expose the number of respondents for each choice. If you activate the toggle button for Show respondents, the number of viewers who participated in the quiz will be displayed in the quiz pop-up view.

Select and announce winner

The quiz result screen will be revealed to correct answer viewers and wrong answer viewers if the Select Winner and Announcement toggle button is inactivated.

  If you activate the Select Winner and Announcement toggle button, you can choose winners from among the quiz participants with correct answers. If you select All with correct answer in Select Winners, a pop-up will be displayed to all participants with correct answers, and those with incorrect answers will see the winner list.

How are winners selected?

Winners will be automatically selected based on the number of winners.

All participants with correct answers: All participants with correct answers are classified as winners and will see the winner information screen.

x number of participants with correct answers: Automatically selects a random x number of participants who answered correctly. Non-winners and participants with incorrect answers will see the winner list screen.

For quiz

You can set the pop-up title and description that will be exposed to the quiz winners.

For survey

Winners can also be selected in survey-type pop-ups. Follow the same steps as above to set the pop-up for survey winners. When all settings are complete, click the Save button.
