Set Clip Aspect Ratio and Background

You can set the aspect ratio of the clip to formats such as 9:16, 16:9, or 1:1, and apply a background to define the overall visual frame of your content. Adjust the clip to fit the desired screen format and distribution channel.

Set Clip Aspect Ratio

On the AI Clip detail page, go to Edit > Ratio. You can choose from three supported frame ratios: 9:16, 16:9, and 1:1. Once selected, the change will be immediately reflected in the preview. The aspect ratio setting determines how your content is framed on screen, but it does not alter the original resolution or aspect ratio of the video itself. Only one ratio can be applied at a time, and you can switch between them at any time. Adjust the format freely to match your preferred style and target channel.

Set Background Color

On the AI Clip detail page, go to Edit > Background. After selecting an aspect ratio, you can choose a background color for the empty space that appears when the video doesn’t fully fill the frame. The default background color is black, but you can select from a range of colors to match your content’s mood or brand identity. Setting a background color helps enhance visual consistency and improve the overall quality of your video.
